Impact of Fukushima emissions in s/km^2

Mini climatology of transport from Fukushima nuclear central in March 2007. Most of the aire is blown into the pacific. Calculation of 48 hs forward trajectories with FLEXPART 8.2 using ERA Interim winds. Color code: day between March 5, 2007 and March 25, 2007. Most of the time the wind blows away the emissions from the plant into the Pacific. The risk of Tokyo contamination remains low as of Thu 17th.
